TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST

Ross Mixing is a leading manufacturer of Processing/Mixing Equipment used by companies all over the world for the manufacturing of Paints, Inks, Chemicals, Foods, Batteries, Personal Care Products and Pharmaceuticals.

This position is responsible for creating, revising and maintaining the Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, internal Price Sheets and other related documents associated with our products. The IO&M Manuals are for distribution to our customers and will include related Vendor Literature, Control System documents and Certification Documentation as required to match each order. This process will expose you to all aspects of the daily operations of the business including design, fabrication, assembly, administration plus the operation, application and use of our products. Additionally, there will be exposure to sales/marketing including product documentation, costing and pricing. Projects and training will be detailed in nature and require knowledge acquired from all areas of the business.

Potential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acquire detailed knowledge of our Products.
  • Acquire detailed knowledge of our customers Applications.
  • Create/update/maintain the Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Assist with creating, updated and enhanced parts and sales price sheets.
  • Work directly with other Ross manufacturing plants and their engineering, sales and accounting departments as needed.
  • Help create more consistency and accuracy throughout all documentation.
  • Work closely with the Sales Department to produce updated price sheets.
  • Help update product costing.
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Word and Excel skills.
  • Proficient with MRP programs and Bills of Material.
  • Mechanical knowledge, mechanical systems/assembly.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels.
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information.
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, make decisions.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting requirements.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities.

Ross Mixing Inc is a very stable employer offering a competitive salary with a full and comprehensive benefits package including 401(k). This is a full time, M-F, Salaried position. Salary is negotiable, based on experience.
